  • Melt butter in fry pan. Add paprika and stir until blended. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Simmer until tender.
  • Add stewed tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Boil mixture for 5 minutes. Add shrimp and boil 10 minutes more.
  • While shrimp Creole mixture is cooking, cook rice in separate sauce pan following manufactures direction. Serve shrimp Creole hot over rice.


This is always a big hit in our home! Simple and easy to make!! I use frozen cooked salad shrimp in this recipe. Fresh shrimp (peeled and deveined) can also be used, as long as you pre-cook shrimp before adding to the Creole mixture.
