  • Chop onions and garlic cloves. Add olive oil to frying pan (ring olive oil around pan to coat). Once translucent, add steak strips and cook until done, about 7 min stirring halfway through. Set meat aside, reserving onions and garlic as well.
  • In a glass bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, half cup of sour cream, Worcestershire sauce (to taste), Italian seasonings, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  • Add mushroom soup mixture to pan that meat was fried in. Stir in pan, then add steak. Heat till bubbly, then taste. If too thick, add a little milk. If too thin, add a little sour cream. Serve over extra wide egg noodles. Optional crushed red pepper can be added when served.

Special Equipment Needed


Sauce can be altered to your taste. You can add more or less of seasonings. Water can be added to thicken if too much milk taste. When storing, store the sauce and noodles in separate containers. When reserving, a little milk can be added to sauce and stir to get consistency back.
