  • In your slow cooker, add your mushroom soup, onion soup and water (to measure the water use the cans from the mushroom soup). Stir well.
  • Add your roast. (Make sure it’s totally covered by gravy. Turn it if needed to cover it.) Clean and cut red potatoes if needed. Add them to the pot. Wash carrots, drain. Add them to the pot. Make sure all your ingredients are well covered by the gravy.
  • Turn the crock-pot (slow cooker) on low. Cook until all are tender. Cook time on low is 4-8 hours. Cut the beef, and serve.

Special Equipment Needed


You may add more mushroom soup and water if needed. Use 1 pkg. of onion soup to every 2-3 cans of mushroom soup for flavor. This also can be used on the high setting of the slow cooker. Cook time on high is 3-6 hours. Don’t want to add veggies? No need to. Prepare them separately. All vegetables can be substituted to your liking. Enjoy!
