  • Put onion in the bottom of the crock-pot. Add brisket. Mix garlic, mustard, water, peppercorns, and brown sugar in a small bowl and pour evenly over the meat. Add cabbage wedges.
  • Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours or until meat is at desired tenderness.
  • Put meat on a platter or cutting board and slice. Put in plates and cover with cabbage/onion mix and juice.

    Not only was this easy and didn't take much prep time, it was very good. My husband never raves about meals, he did with this. Only difference I used pickle juice in place of the water for a little more seasoning. Cooked potatoes, carrots and cabbage on the stove and served all together. Thanks for the great recipe!
