  • Heat slow-cooker on high, trim fat off of chicken breasts. Add olive oil to bottom of slow-cooker, and then add chicken breasts. Pour spaghetti sauce over chicken, add pepper and onions.
  • Cook on high for four hours or until chicken is done (use meat thermometer). 20 minutes before chicken is done, prepare pasta as directed on the box.
  • When chicken is cooked through, use a fork and knife to shred the chicken breasts. Stir in the slow cooker, let cook for another ten minutes.
  • Drain noodles. Serve chicken and sauce on top of noodles. Enjoy with some garlic bread and a salad!


Shredding the chicken saves money. Serving an entire chicken breast to each person would double the cost of this recipe.
