  • Take bacon out of package, cut in three equal pieces. Take a smokie, wrap bacon around, and secure it with toothpick. Continue until all the bacon and smokies are done.
  • Layer them in a 13 by 9 pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover with foil. Let sit in refrigerator overnight or at least 2 hours (better overnight).
  • Cook with foil on pan at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Uncover the last 5 minutes. Drain grease and put in crock-pot. Serve warm.


I have tried other brands of smokies and bacon It is usually greasy Or have an odd taste. You will get a little flustered when wrapping bacon but it will be worth it. These go over great at a carry-in or around the Holidays. It was my brother-in-law request for a birthday present for years.
