  • Melt the Crisco in a pan. Then set it to the side to cool. Add flour to a bowl and gradually pour milk in. Pour until when you stir it up it is runny (kind of like mashed potatoes). Then pour the heated Crisco in on this. Stir all together.
  • Drop by spoonfuls into the pan. Shape them with the spoon. It shouldn't be large spoonfuls and the sides need to touch.
  • Put the pan in the oven and back at 425°F until tops are golden brown. The biscuits will form a unique square shape and they are so delicious. They are great reheated through out the day as well.

Special Equipment Needed


When dropping the biscuits on to the pan holding your spoon straight up and down and just letting it fall out that way gives it a better shape and though they look small they come out full and great.
