Make It

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Clean chicken breast and remove skin, drain in colander.
  • Spray Pyrex pan with Pam. Place drained chicken breast in pan. Pour soy sauce over chicken and place butter on top of each chicken breast.
  • Place in oven. Turn chicken over after 1/2 hour. Cook another 1/2 hour or until chicken is done to your likeness.

Notes

This is a very simple recipe. And, the chicken bakes thoroughly and believe it or not, it is very moist. I will usually make a salad with this dish as a side dish.

I was a little afraid of just soy sauce so I added a can of small orange segments and it was great. Used the sauce over rice as suggested. My husband liked it. I need more like this. Thanks

Great taste! I made fried rice to go along with the chicken. We poured the soy sauce/butter that the chicken baked in over the rice. It was fantastic. Will do again! Thanks!
