The secret is not to lift the lid after you add the ingredients so the noodles get done. The noodles will be sort of gummy but that is how they are supposed to be. It is an all in one meal (you have your meat & vegies) and best of all, it is done all in one pan.
I use a large size pan with a cover (like a chicken fryer pan). Everything fits nicely in the pan.
I usually make garlic toast to go with this dish and sometimes a fresh green salad. It is extremely easy and good!!!
To make things even quicker, I will cook up a lot of hamburger (like 5-10 pounds) and then freeze it in individual 1 pound packages. Now when I am in a big hurry my meat is done. All I have to do is add the ingredients and let it go. Wonderful!
