  • In a blender place olive oil, garlic cloves, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and parmesan cheese.
  • In a 2 cup glass measuring cup place 3/4 water and heat in microwave until hot. Remove the cup and gradually crack 2 eggs into the hot water and place cup back into microwave and put on high for an additional 1 minute.* Remove the cup and using a slotted spoon scoop out the eggs placing them directly into the blender with the other ingredients.
  • Put top on blender and blend on Puree for approx. 1 minute. You may use it warm from the blender for a bolder flavor or chill for a less intense flavor.


You may adjust the number of garlic cloves depending on the boldness you desire. This saves well and can be doubled and stored in something such as a saved ketchup bottle and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. *Be sure to not over cook the eggs in the microwave. The eggs are best cooked only till the whites are slightly set and the yolks are still runny. ** Coddled eggs is not quite a poached egg.
