  • Chop and drain spinach, chop onion, and drain and chop water chestnuts. Mix all ingredients well.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours.
  • After mixture has been remove from refrigerator, cut middle of sweet bread out and cut into chunks. Then pour dip into middle of bread. Place chunks of bread around the dish for dipping and guests will tear remaining bread for dipping also.


This recipe is a good appetizer for lunch or dinner.

    i've been making this for 20 yrs and always give this recipe out. i do add some nature's seasoning, garlic pepper and drained, minced clams. it is always the 1st to go at any gathering. try serving it with triscuit's.
