  • Cut ends of green beans in slant. In a sauce pan or pot, heat minced garlic and olive oil or canola oil on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Add green beans, stirring to mix garlic with beans, and slowly add water over a five minute period.
  • Cover and allow water to slightly evaporate for approximately 5 minutes. Stir and remove from heat.

Special Equipment Needed


Frozen green beans can be used but will take a few more minutes to complete the cooking process due to frozen state. Add 1 to 2 minutes before adding water and covering when using frozen green beans. You do not have to cut frozen green beans.
