  • 1. Soak Chinese rice noodle in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain the water.
  • 2. Fry the garlic and shallots with oil till fragrant.
  • 3. Add the peas and minced meat. Fry till cooked. Keep the fried ingredients aside.
  • 4. In the same pan, pour in 1/2 cup of water, the Tom Yam cube and the tomato sauce.
  • 5. Add 1/3 cup of boiling water to the Assam, stir it till the water turns brown. Sift the water, throwing away the seeds of the Assam. Add the brown Assam water to the pan.
  • 6. When the Tom Yam cube dissolves, add the soaked rice noodles to the pan. Stir-fry till most of the water is dissolved. Add the fried ingredients.
  • 7. Sprinkle some Chinese parsley before serving.
