  • PREHEAT oven to 325 degrees and grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  • MIX flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • BLEND sugar, egg whites, apple sauce, vanilla, and preserves until well blended.
  • ALTERNATE adding flour mixture and milk, ending with flour. Stir in mashed bananas.
  • BAKE 1 hour 20 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool and serve with desired milk.

Notes

*You can choose to use Splenda for an even healthier twist ** Soymilk was my choice. Feel free to use fat free, reduced fat or skim milk.
