  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Put rhubarb in greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Mix sugar and Jell-O; sprinkle over rhubarb. Sprinkle cake mix then water over all. Slice butter onto top of cake.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Serve cold if you're lucky enough to have any left.

    I have made this cake like 20 times this rhubarb season and keep getting requests to bring it to family gatherings etc. You will not be disappointed.

    Have made this several times and we have renamed it OMG. It is so good. The last time I made it I forgot to add the sugar, was a firmer cake and tasted real good and not so loose. It is now a family favorite.

    This has officially replaced my husbands longtime favorite dessert. I didn't have strawberry jello, i used blackberry fusion, and i substituted one cup of the rhubarb with fresh cut up strawberries. needless to say it didn't last the night. lol
