  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, crumble the sausage and mix in the cheese until well blended. Set aside.
  • Next, take each mushroom and carefully remove the stem. Fill each cap with some of the sausage-cheese mixture. Wrap with a slice of bacon and insert a toothpick to hold ends together.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes and enjoy!

Special Equipment Needed


This recipe is so easy and delicious that people who hate mushrooms will LOVE them! If you have a couple of mushrooms that are on the small side, just cut a piece of bacon in half and that will be plenty. The amount of mushrooms per container vary so you can adjust the recipe to how many you will need. You may also substitute hot sausage if you prefer.
