  • Heat oven to 450. Grease 13x9x2 baking dish. Brown meat, drain, and set aside. Mix Bisquick and water until dough forms. Divide into 2 parts, one slightly larger.
  • On surface dusted with Bisquick, roll larger portion of dough into rectangle. Fold into thirds. Place in dish, unfold, press on bottom and up sides*. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese, cover with 3/4 cup of pizza sauce. Add meat and other toppings. Cover with 1 1/2 cups cheese.
  • Roll remaining dough into rectangle. Fold into thirds. Place over dish, unfold, press sides together to seal. Make small slits in top crust. Spread with remaining sauce and cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Special Equipment Needed


I've discovered Jiffy works the best for Bisquick. I use one 4 oz. can of chopped mushroom pieces (Roundys),and about a hanful or 2 of chopped black olives for my pizza toppings. *I've found something that helps in this step: First, before rolling it out, it really helps to spray your rolling pin with nonstick cooking spray. That prevents your dough from sticking to the rolling pin. Also, you might want to place your pan over the dough rectangle before you fold it, to make sure it will fit, so you have enough around the edges to press up the sides. This recipe is a family favorite, and when you've done it a few times, it becomes very easy to toss together. I hope you enjoy it!
