  • Cut squash into large chunks. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over medium high setting and add squash and mushrooms.
  • Sprinkle with spices and saute, turning squash to insure all sides are slightly browned.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cover ingredients with shredded cheese. Remove from heat when cheese has melted.
