  • Dice, slice, and chop the 1st 7 ingredients and combine in a large bowl or container with lid.
  • Add the dill, white pepper, and crushed red pepper. Place lid on container and toss. If no lid available stirring works too!! Add the final 4 ingredients... salt is optional. Place lid on container and gently toss.
  • Place the container in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to combine this will also slightly increase the spiciness.

Special Equipment Needed


I recommend this salsa with Triscuit Crackers, baked pita chips or fresh toasted sliced pita bread. Also a great compliment when accompanied with any flavor of hummus or guacamole. This can also be used as a garnish on fish or chicken! *To decrease the spiciness of the peppers, be sure to deseed them before adding to the other ingredients. Also, depending where peppers were grown, the spice level will vary. Taste pepper 1st, then dice and add more or less to the salsa according to your spice desire!! **Corn is also an optional ingredient. This recipe is a great use of that leftover corn on the cob from last night!! ***Cilantro is an optional ingredient and compliments the other ingredients. Feel free to add any other favorite herb... I am constantly trying new ingredients and reinventing this recipe.
