This is definitely a "make it the night before" type dish.
I recommend cutting the baby carrots and cherry tomatoes in half (easier to eat AND to soak up the marinade).
But other than that, I do prefer larger "chunks" of veggies. Leave the olives whole.
The end product should be a pretty equal balance of 1/2 pasta, 1/2 vegetables.
