  • First you will need to prepare all of the ingredients before you put it together. Cook the sweet potatoes, cool and mashed in a bowl. Grind the walnuts in another bowl. Use 3-4 egg whites and froth them up. In another bowl, open the marshmallow bag and get ready to get 1 at a time. I would use deposable gloves. Once you get going with everything in front of you it will get messy!
  • Put a thin layer of oil in a flat oven pan. Get a large spoonful of potato. Add a marshmallow, covering all of it, then roll in egg white, then roll in walnuts. Add to the cooking pan.
  • Once pan is full, put in 325°F oven for 7-8 minutes depending on your oven. Watch closely until you know what your oven will do. You will see some bubbles then take out of oven!! This will be a big heat and look like a real pro in the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is fantastic. This recipe is fantastic. Not only does it look wonderful, but it taste that way also. Just be sure that you cook no longer than necessary because the marshmallow in the middle will erupt and your sweetpotato ball will go splat.
