  • Preheat oven to 350. Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning according to package directions. Cool the beef (for the 30 min. prep put in freezer for a few minutes-what I do).
  • While the beef is cooling spread out 1 roll of crescent rolls in the shape of a rectangle on a baking sheet. Pour the cooled beef on top and sprinkle with Mexican Cheese. Then top with the second roll of crescent rolls and squeeze the edges to form a seal. Then bake in the oven according to package directions (12 minutes).
  • While this is cooking melt Velveeta in a small bowl (may add milk if a thinner texture is desired-I usually do). After 12 min. pull taco bake out of oven and pour the Velveeta on top! YOU’RE DONE!! I usually cut it in 6 servings.

Notes

Everyone I know loves this recipe...you can add onions during the frying of the beef if you desire. I don't because my husband hates them, but my friends have tried it with onions and thought it was great!
