  • Heat chili in small pot with 1/4 cup water to thin it down.
  • Cut lettuce into bite size pieces and place on plates, layer with chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, and broken nacho chips.
  • Spoon heated chili over the top. Spread the grated cheese over top of all ingredients. Enjoy.

Notes

This is a very healthy salad and we enjoy this as a main course at least once a week. I sometimes put a little Italian dressing on before the chili and or use salsa to give it that extra punch to the taste.
