  • MIX VELVEETA and tomatoes in 1-1/2-qt. microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted, stirring after 3 min.
  • COOK and stir ground beef in a nonstick skillet until no longer pink, stirring to break up beef. Drain well, place back into skillet. Add seasoning mix and water; bring to boil. Cook on medium heat 2 to 3 minutes.
  • STIR prepared beef into melted VELVEETA and tomatoes until thoroughly combined, pour into serving dish. Serve hot with or over tortilla chips.

Special Equipment Needed


I discovered this recipe when making home-made tacos one night. I decided to add a little of the meat to my dip and everyone loved it! Although I have not tried it, ground turkey may be a good option to the beef.
