  • Brown ground beef and drain if needed. Add taco seasoning mix and cook according to directions. Let simmer.
  • Next, cut up all other ingredients and set aside. Chop cilantro and add to meat mixture. This will season meat more with taco mix. Add chopped onion to meat mixture now also.
  • Now cook your shells according to box directions.

Set your table, place meat in bowl and get all other ingredients on table. Tell family dinner is ready and watch out because they will run to table for these tacos. Now you sit and enjoy dinner with your family. Oh make sure you have extra sour cream and cheese because I find the more you use, the better the taco. Now you add the dressing just like salsa or sauce. They both make the tacos taste better. This can be served with beans and/or Mexican rice. You can also use shredded cooked chicken in this recipe. In fact we prefer the chicken! The meat can be put into oven to keep warm along with shells while heating them. I put my oven rack up as high as possible while heating shells. They may burn if you don’t. Hope you enjoy this meal. You can use cilantro in just about any dish you make. This recipe takes 1 hour or less depending on any help you get from family.
