  • Brown ground beef. Drain. Add refried beans, taco seasoning and taco sauce. Simmer until well mixed and hot through.
  • Spoon meat mixture into heated taco shells. Top with lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese.
  • Dip:
  • Cube cheese and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Add Ro*Tel and return to microwave until cheese is melted. Serve with tortilla chips.

Special Equipment Needed


Leftover Dip: Mix leftover meat from tacos with leftover dip. Microwave until hot. I normally serve the tacos one day and save the leftovers to make dip for the next day and serve with hamburgers or hot dogs. Also great to have as a meal when you know you need something to take to a finger food event the next day. Leftover dip over tortilla chips with lettuce and tomato makes a great taco salad.
