  • Mix margarine, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil over med. heat. Remove from heat and add flour, salt and sugar. Stir to combine. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, eggs and baking soda. Add to dry ingredients and blend together.
  • Pour into a greased and floured standard size cookie sheet (or 9 X 18 cake pan) and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for approx. 25 minutes.
  • Frost cake while still warm but not hot. For frosting: bring to a boil the margarine, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and add confectioners' sugar. Add additional milk if necessary to get to desired consistency.

    I BAKED THIS CAKE TO TAKE TO OUR GOOD SAM CLUB CAMPOUT AND IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS. I ONLY BROUGHT HOME A SMALL STRIP OF CAKE. I PUT IT IN A 9x15 DISH.
