Tilapia with Lemon Butter Sauce

  • Place fillets in large Ziploc bag with 3 tsp. of flour and seasoned salt. Shake to coat.
  • Place large saute pan on med-high heat. Place 1 Tbsp. butter in pan and swirl to coat. Add fish and cook 3 minutes. Add 1 Tbsp. butter to center of pan and turn fillets with a spatula, distributing butter under fillets. Cook 3 more minutes. Place fish on serving plate.
  • Place remaining 1 Tbsp. butter in pan and 1 tsp. flour, wine and lemon juice. Heat 1-2 minutes till thickened stirring occasionally. Stir parsley into butter sauce and serve over fish.


This can easily be made just for 2 with just half of the fish. Unless you want a browned butter sauce (doesn't hurt the taste) watch that butter doesn't brown in the last steps.
