  • Warm oil in large skillet. Put in the cumin & mustard seeds into hot oil. Let it roast. Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, turmeric powder, chili powder. Sautee well. Stir occasionally.
  • After about 4 min, add carrot, celery, and green pepper. Keep stirring & saute well. Keep closed and let cook for about 4 -5 min.
  • Then add the tuna, mix it in well so that the clumps are broken. Stir occasionally, add the cilantro leaves, and sprinkle Italian seasoning liberally. Mix well. Cover & cook for about 5-8 min stirring once in a while. Remove from heat, serve hot.

Special Equipment Needed


If you want to make it a little less spicy you can add either the chili powder or chopped green chili. No need to use both.
