  • First boil the potatoes with the skins on. Let them cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, don't let them get too soft.
  • After they are done remove them from the boiling water and place them in cold water to cool down. Then you will peel the potatoes and shred them with a grater.
  • In a separate bowl mix together the sour cream, 1 cup of Kraft grated cheese, sliced green onions and part of the bacon bits. Add salt and pepper for your taste.
  • Mix together the potatoes and mix.
  • Add into a large greased pan and top it off with the remainder of the cheese and bacon bits. Sprinkle the top with paprika. Cover and let refrigerate over night.
  • Once ready to bake - you will cook on 375* for about 30 - 45 minutes.

Special Equipment Needed


You can use more or less of the cheese and bacon bits depending on your preference. Also the butter is optional as well. The original recipe doesn't call for it, but it makes the potatoes creamier. If you wish to add it, mix it in with the sour cream and cheese mixture.
