  • Place Twinkie halves (creme side up) in 13x9 pan. Place sliced bananas over twinkies. Pour undrained pineapple over bananas & spread evenly
  • Mix pudding according to package directions until slightly set. Pour/spread over top of the pineapple.
  • Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Garnish with cherries and nuts. Chill at least 1 hour.

Notes

Keeps well in fridge for several days.

    Huge hit! Only changes - drained the pineapple (didn't want the twinkies to get that soggy) and I topped it with strawberries instead of cherries.

    This recipe was a big hit at the nursing home where I work. I made it for a special activity and the whole place said it was -wow! The theme of the activity was "Twinkie Buffet" everything had to be made using twinkies, of course we have a lot of different themes, but this one was a favorite. Thank you for making a lot of smiles for a great group of people! I'll be looking for more food ideas in the furure!!!
