  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape the foil baking cups into heart shapes by tightly pinching one end to make a point and tightly pushing in the opposite end to make the top of the heart (make sure the shape is very pronounced because it will lossen as it bakes). Place the foil baking cups on a cookie sheet.
  • For the CAKE part mix all the ingredients together and fill each baking cup equally.
  • For FILLING mix all ingredients together and spoon on top of cake in baking cups. DO NOT FILL TOO FULL or it will bake over and ruin the heart shape!!
  • Place cookie sheet in oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Notes

You can use a regular cupcake pan and no food coloring for traditional black bottom cup cakes (makes 12 in this case because you can fill them fuller) To cut the fat use Neufchatel Cheese and replace all or half of the oil with apple suace
