  • In a large bowl, stir flour, sugar and salt with fork. Cut in shortening until crumbly. In small bowl, beat together water, egg and vinegar; add to flour mixture until well moistened.
  • Divide dough into 5 portions. Shape each in a flat, round patty ready for rolling. Wrap each in plastic wrap, wax paper or sandwich bag individually.
  • Chill at least 30 minutes for immediate use. Will keep 3-5 days in fridge or freeze for longer storage.
