  • Take 1/2 cup of water, pour into saucepan, place on stove medium heat. Take rice and pour into a bowl. Wash, drain, and pour into saucepan with water, let cook 15 minutes.
  • Once rice is cooked, drain any remaining water from pan. Remove from heat and let cool. Take vanilla pudding mixture and pour into bowl. Mix in milk, vanilla, sugar, nutmeg, and as much raisins as you like. Mix all together until creamy.
  • In 6 pudding bowls, pour rice on the bottom of bowls flatten rice to pack in well. Then pour vanilla pudding into rice bowls, and dash with cinnamon. Put in refrigerator, for 1/2 hour. Once thicken, garnish with Cool Whip or whip cream, and a little more cinnamon. Vanilla Rice Pudding is ready to eat.

Special Equipment Needed


You can also use a baking dish to prepare same ingredients except leave in refrigerator for 1 hour, then cut into squres for Vanilla Rice Pudding Squares, if this is your choice, garnish with whip cream or slices of bananas.
