  • First chop the onion in big chunks, and fry in oil. I fry the onion till almost burnt, the flavor is great. Then fry up your ground chuck till done, drain off the grease.
  • Now throw in the chopped carrots, green beans, corn and diced up your potatoes, in bite size pieces. I fry them all for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Than put all the mixture into a casserole dish, with butter or oleo. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees F or until the carrots are soft. Serve with toasted French bread, or garlic bread.


This is a one dish meal, and really good, very filling. You can even continue cooking in your crock-pot.
