  • Soak venison steaks in cold water in the fridge for at least 8 hours, changing water several times if possible.
  • Wash each steak and sprinkle with meat tenderizer. Puncture repeatedly with a fork. Lay steaks in a large casserole dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients (except for fruit) and pour over steaks. Place apple and orange slices on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
