  • Brown ground beef in skillet; drain.
  • In a large pot, combine the cooked beef plus all of the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer over low heat.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 hours.

Notes

I came up with this recipe when I was trying to clone Wendy's Chili. For spicier chili, add 1/2 tsp more black pepper. For much spicier chili, and 1 tsp. black pepper and 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper (HOT!). For the really strong stomachs, add 5 or 6 sliced jalapeno peppers (HOT! HOT!). I like to put this in the crock-pot for a come-home dinner.
