  • Cake
  • Mix all ingredients together well. Pour batter in a greased & floured bundt pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Glaze
  • Bring to a boil 1 stick butter, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Remove from stove and add 1/4 cup white wine. Heat for 1 minute longer.
  • Spoon half of glaze over hot cake in pan. Let stand for 10 minutes. Place cake on plate and spoon remainder of glaze over cake.


This cake freezes well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Moist and delicious I make this for the first time for a social club meeting and it was a big Hit. Everyone love how moist this cake is without any frosting. I didn't add water to the glaze as called for in the recipe didn't need it.Will be making two as a gift for Easter.
