  • On a baking sheet in a single layer arrange sliced baguette. Brush with 1 Tbsp. of oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Broil till golden brown about 4 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  • Meanwhile make mushroom topping. In a large skillet heat the remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Add mushrooms, garlic and scallions. Saute till mushrooms are cooked through. Add thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Spread cream cheese on cooled baguette. Top with about a tablespoon of mushroom mixture, enjoy.

Notes

These go fast but do not top baguette ahead of serving time the bread can get soggy.
