  • Heat olive oil. Place garlic and onions in oil to brown. Crumble sausage and brown with onions and garlic. Chop up your fresh mushrooms and add toward the end of browning. Once the sausage is thoroughly cooked, drain if needed. Add some salt and pepper to suit your taste. Feel free to add any other Italian type spices if you like them...but remember, your sausage has some already! Once you have your meat mixture just the way you want it, add your tomato sauce and then the sugar. Stir well.
  • Cook the tortellini according to package directions, but leave it a tad will cook more in the oven! Drain tortellini and add to your meat/sauce mixture. Stir thoroughly and simmer briefly.
  • Spray a glass casserole with non stick spray. Place your tortellini/sauce mixture in the pan. Cover with Kraft Shredded Cheese mixture. Bake at 350°F for about 1/2 hour or until all bubbly and brown on top.


YUM-eeeeeeeeeeeeee! Serve with Fresh Express Lettuce Trio for a garden salad (sprinkle your salad with Durkee French fried onions! Yum-e!) and some garlic bread and you will be a hero! I just created this recipe today and my husband loved it. It was fast and easy to do and it really tasted great. The Kraft all natural shredded cheese on top of this tasty dish is the best finishing touch. I use it in MANY dishes and everyone loves it! The Fresh Express salad mixes just go one more step to keep it simple and easy!
