To make pureed carrots, peel carrots; cut into small chunks. Place in saucepan with water. Cook 12 to 15 min. or until tender; drain. Place in blender container; cover. Blend until pureed.
Substitute 1 baby food jar (6 oz.) carrots for the pureed cooked carrots.
Make your own baby food. Puree leftover carrots or your family's favorite vegetable in blender container. Pour into ice cube trays. Freeze 1 hour. Remove from tray and place in resealable plastic freezer bags. Next time you make Kraft Dinner, add 2 to 3 frozen vegetables cubes when adding the Cheese Sauce Mix.

It was okay but there was a really carrot like after taste. I mixed my macaroni with my baked beans to try and lessen the carrot flavor and I ate mine, but I'll probably give the leftovers to the cats!
I made this for my 3 year old twins who love mac and cheese but struggle w/ veggies. It looked great and I thought it would go over well with them, but one bite and they could taste the difference. Wouldn't work on my little guys.
Easier version--pour in a jar of stage 1 or 2 carrot baby food. Taste and look don't give away the veggies!
