what you need

cans (14-1/2 oz. each) stewed tomatoes, undrained

cup water

1/2

lb. OSCAR MAYER Turkey Smoked Sausage, sliced

chicken bouillon cubes

tsp. hot pepper sauce

cups instant white rice, uncooked

Make It

MIX tomatoes with their liquid, the water, sausage, bouillon and hot pepper sauce in large skillet. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 to 2 min. or until bouillon is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally.

STIR in rice; cover. Cook 5 min.

FLUFF with fork.

Quick, easy & delicious! Added a pound of sausage & a drained can of corn. We did think it needed a little more spice since I added extras to it; tbsp instead of tsp.

This recipes is delicious and I added extra sausage and chicken. Add a side salad, it makes a wonderful meal.

I chopped up a bell pepper and added a couple of shakes of chili powder. I also browned the sausage with the bell pepper before I added the rest of the ingredients. I agree with those who said this isn't really "jambalaya" without shrimp and some other key ingredients, but it was very good regardless.

Was as quick as purported to make and made alot. Great for freezing and heating up the leftovers.

I have to recant my previous comment. I did not make this recipe, I made the 15 minute Sausage and Rice Skillet. It was excellent. Sorry!

I was very dissapointed! I omitted the hot-sauce because I don't have any, but used red pepper. However, this tasted like tomato flavored rice with sausage. I suggest using a different recipe, either from this site, or many others!
