  • Heat oven to 425ºF.
  • Spread chili onto bottom of 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Place 1 wiener on each tortilla; roll up. Place, seam sides down, over chili. Sprinkle with cheese; cover.
  • Bake 25 min. or until wieners are heated through and cheese is melted.

Serving Suggestion

Don't let the fun stop at the entrée! Round out the meal with a fun salad bar. Set out a large bowl of torn mixed salad greens and small bowls filled with chopped fresh vegetables. Then let everyone pick their favorite salad toppers and make their own fun salad.

Special Extra

Prepare casserole in foil-lined baking dish, making sure there is enough foil extending over edges of dish to cover and seal. Freeze casserole until firm. Remove from dish; wrap tightly with foil. Place foil-wrapped casserole in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Label and date. When ready to thaw, unwrap frozen casserole and return to original baking dish. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, then bake as directed just before serving.

I put one can of chili on the bottom with some diced onions and then wrapped the hotdogs in flour tortillas with a little bit of shredded cheese and once they were all in there, poured the other can of chili over the top with more diced onions and then topped it with cheese. Definite hit with my family and even my Dad who hates hot dogs. :)

Such a good recipe for those nights where you don't have a lot of time to cook, or those nights when you want something fun and different. My husband LOVES this and asks frequently when we are going to have it again. I have tried it with both corn tortillas & flour tortillas and personally I found the flour tortillas easier to roll and more flavorful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good recipe, easy and fast to make. Very good recipe, easy and fast to make. I added a chopped onion, garlic and tomato paste to increase chili bean flavor. I suggest heating the wraps for easy bending around the hot dogs. Watch as they cook. The first time we made the cheese and wraps were crispy and chili only luke warm.

I made this yesterday, but instead of corn tortillas, I used crescent rolls and put cheese on top of the hot dogs then put the sheet of crescent rolls over the top, and sprinkled shredded cheddar cheese over the top. My husband thought it was great. I thought quick, easy and pretty good.
