Easy Italian Pasta Casserole

Easy Italian Pasta Bake recipe
We call this pasta casserole "Italian," because it's cheesy with Parmesan and mozzarella. And "easy" because it takes just 20 minutes to assemble.

I've made this several times. Family and friends love it and it freezes well. I have learned to cut back on the amount of pasta or the amount of beef because without doing so the dish is a little too dry for our likes. I also brown some chopped onion and/or minced garlic with the meat for extra flavor and use two cups of mozzarella. Thanks Kraft for this lovely easy basic recipe.

Wow! Awesome healthy living dish! Couldn't really tell it was healthy! I think what helped is the bake time, making the whole grain pasta less grainy in texture. Will definitely be making often.

Great easy weeknight dinner. I made it with vegetarian "beef" crumbles.

Loved this casserole! However, I made it with part sweet sausage and part hamburger. The sweet sausage added a wonderful "kick" to the dish. This is a staple in my household.

I've made this dish several times now with slight variations of the meat, i.e. (ground beef mixed with sausage, ground turkey sausage) and it's tasted great each time. I always cook the meats with extra garlic and seasonings. This is from a person who doesn't eat pasta dishes!
