Very Bland. Tasted more like an Italian dish than Swiss Steak.

This recipe is very tasty! I fixed it for family and friends and they all raved about it. This recipe will be filed in "our favorites" section in my many recipes I have accumulated over the years.

Needs something to spice it up. I added mushrooms, red pepers, and some Tapitio (hot sauce) to flavor it up.

This was not bad and I would make it again because it's easy to put together, but it needs some extra flavor.

It was very good. You can use more meat in the receipe because it makes alot of sauce.

I've made this twice now and it is a family favorite already! It's easy, not bad on the "healthy meter" and it is good. We had ours - the second time - over brown rice. It's VERY good!

i haven't made this yet but i am going to soon. i went ahead and selected "good" on the back of assumption and i will update after ive tried it but i wanted to thank kraft for this recipe! i remember eating this as a child at my aunt's house and never knew what it was called. she always served it with mashed potatoes as well. im sure the recipes aren't identical but i believe they are close enough...to delicious! i cant wait to try this one out. ill keep you posted.

I simmered this on the stove for 1 & 1/2 hours instead of cooking it in the crock pot because time slipped away from me one Sunday evening. My teenage son liked it so much he actually expressed his gratitude for the meal!

I used a red pepper instead of the green. Very colorful and delish
