OREO & Fudge Ice Cream Cake

OREO & Fudge Ice Cream Cake recipe

Looks hard, but it's not. The secret? Ice cream sandwiches do most of the work. Delicious layers of OREO Cookies and fudge help too.

My children are 13, 14 & 14 and this is the only birthday cake they want each year for the past five years! They love it and so do all their friends! The whip cream can also be colored with food coloring or sprayed with color to make it more festive and then decorated as you would any other cake. One year we made it look like an ipod - very cool!

My kids LOVE this stuff. I think it is way too sweet and turns my stomach, but hey I'm making it for them. I have made it several times and this last time forgot to buy hot fudge. Used melted semi-sweet chocolate chips instead and it worked out great. I always use almost double the cool whip. Makes the filling easier to spread and prettier on the outside too.

Was very good and easy to make! You can sprinkle crushed oreos on final cool whip on cake :)

This was so easy and delicious to make. With the cost of buying an icecream cake nowadays, this was pretty inexpensive to make and it was a big hit at my daughter's party. I did put it on a pan after wrapping it in foil for more stability while freezing

Super easy to make and looks like it took all day. It tastes amazing and you can decorate the outside anyway you want. I took the oreos and crushed some for top then arranged whole oreos across the bottom edges.

Well this is my family's new favorite dessert. It is so easy to make and even easier to eat. I did find freezing it 24 hours was much firmer and better.
