I made this for my sons Scout Halloween party and it was a hit, I did the hairline to resemble Frankenstein and made him a bit meaner looking. I can't wait to make the Ghost or Jack O' Lantern. It is such a great idea to use cupcakes.

Turned out great! I was concerned about the icing dripping down the gaps, but I had enough icing to really give it a good, thick layer. It was really cute. I had my two boys help decorate (ages 6 and 7). Fun! They are taking it to school for a Halloween treat!

This was so easy to make.I made the mini cupcakes and ended up with 2 monster cakes. 1 for the school for the holloween party and the other for my daughters art class. Kids, parents and teachers couldnt get enough of it. I would try it again for all occasions. xmas, valentine and so on.Thank you for this recipe! lilly

i used this for my sons halloween party and it was a hit, The only thing i did was use a different frosting recipe, i used 1/2 cup softend unsalted butter 1/2 cup shortening and 4 cups confectioners sugar and 2 Tbls. milk other than that it was great!!
