I took a lot of advice from other reviewers, and it turned out great! I doubled the pesto & cream cheese, used 1/2 cup chicken broth instead of water, and added mushrooms & zucchini. I also halved the grape tomatoes and just added them on as garnish instead of cooking them. I served it with spaghetti, and it was fantastic!
This was great. Have made it several times. Served it with linguini (added a little extra pesto to pasta); and it was delicious. Thought I had lost the recipe; will be making tomorrow night.
I have made this at least 3 times. Last night, I did not have thawed chicken so I used canned chicken breast. I used elbow macaroni and poured the "sauce" over the macaroni. It was a big hit at dinner! I will definitely make this part of our menu options. Oh, I had to double the recipe and there wasn't much left for today's lunch.
this is very good and easy to make.. I added yellow squash and zucchini to the sauce as well.
I loved it. I dredged the chicken in flour and cooked in butter. Needs double the sauce this way and the sauce needs to be thinned a little with some milk. This makes it 5 stars!
I loved this recipe, the sauce was incredibly delicious. I did use chicken broth instead of water(as suggested by another user). I also added some fresh green beans (that I had briefly blanched) to the sauce. Served with fettuccine. I'm planning on serving this dish at an upcoming dinner party.
This is a restaurant quality dish! I cut my chicken up into cubes and tossed it with angel hair pasta. Delicious!
Very good and simple too! I must say I cheated and used Philadelphia Cooking Sauce (Pesto) as I did not have pesto. It was a great shortcut! I cooked the little grape tomatoes till they just burst their skins...wonderful dish!
Super delicious! Will double the sauce next time and make sure to flatten out the chicken before cooking. All in all very good
My husband and daughter loved this dish. They never like the same thing so when I find a dish they both like I am so excited. This recipe is so easy. It is definitely a keeper!!
