This recipe was really good. I made it for my MOPS group and they just loved it but I did have some left over, much to my husband's delight!!! Good stuff!!

I used the small 3.9oz package of instant chocolate pudding that it calls for, not the sugar free. It's very chocolaty & not extremely sugary. My husband found it to be bland when eating it after the 20-minute cool down, I found it to be rich. Very good the next day out of the fridge. Not as runny, but you can still reheat for 15 seconds in 1000w microwave for a single serving. I like it better without the cool whip topping. The 55 minute baking time was perfect.

I would add something to this to jazz it up...possibly sliced strawberries, raspberry syrup or some peanut butter chips...

What a horrible recipe! I should have know better when I read that it called for water. I have not seen a cake that includes pudding call for water and milk both. The cake was completely raw after an hour. I had to break the top of it off which was simply pudding and cake combined and put it back in the oven. This recipe seemed simple enough. Next time I will make molten lava cakes they don't take a lot of time to make and taste fabulous. Boo to Kraft foods for this recipe.

The kids loved the cake. Although I was expecting it to be more of a hot fudge filling, but it does live up to the name "chocolate pudding"

This cake was not very sweet. I used sugar-free pudding, which may have been the problem. Also, after sitting only 30 minutes, the pudding formed a film.

This was kind of bland tasting, which I didn't think was possible with chocolate cake and chocolate pudding. I used sugar free pudding which may have made the difference. I may choose to frost the leftovers to give it more taste.

Im a huge chocoholic. I thought this wouldnt be rich, but still tried it. I loved it and so did the family. It was very rich and definitely satisfied the chocolate craving. I did not alter the recipe at all. I will be making this often to eat with vanilla ice cream!

I will definitely make this recipe again. Wonderful recipe that is easy to through together, however I will make one change. I think there was too much pudding. I will use only half of the amount of the pudding mixture. But overall, wonderful recipe!
