This was a good recipe. Tasted like White Castle burgers. Very easy to make. It did produce a lot of grease. I did not cook with the buns. I cooked the burgers with pickles first and then added the cheese at the end. While the cheese was melting, I split the buns and put them on a seperate pan to toast in the oven. I served it with baked beans and cole slaw. My kids and husband loved it!

I followed the lead of some of the other reviewers, and baked the meat without the buns. Quite a bit of grease was under the rack, so I'm glad I did. Quite tasty, I'd be glad to make again.

I give it 5 stars because of the changes I made. I sat the meat on a rack and baked it on its own. Afterwards I added cheese and let it in a warm oven while I was getting buns cut. It was a huge hit with my children. It will go on rotation. Thank you!

This is a great recipe except... I would definately not cook them on the bun and will not put the cheese on them from the off. Save the cheese for last when there's only about 10 min. left to bake and make sure you use extra-extra lean beef if you do cook them on the bun maybe that will lelp.

The only setback with this recipe was the soggy bottoms. However, I cannot wait to try some of the reviewers' suggestions and cook the meat first in a cook sheet to avoid this. Soggy bottoms or not, my husband loved this recipe and we will be making again.

I am giving this recipe a two because the hamburger made the bun soft after cooking it and it was like a grease pile. I however would make it again and tweak the recipe.

very tasty mini-burgers. My only complaint would be the bottom of the bun does get soggy.

They were awesome! Very easy to make, and I followed everyone else's suggestions and didn't put the buns in the oven. My husband loves white castle, he said these are pretty darn close for a home burger! We are already planning when to make again!

I loved these, but like other reviews they were a bit soggy on the bottom. I thought maybe next time I may put the mini patties directly on the pan with the toppings and top bun, bake and then put them on the bottom bun last. They were so yummy though, I almost don't mind the sogginess. Good dipped in ketchup.

Delish! I pressed the meat mixture out thinly to cover an entire cookie sheet and just baked that by itself for about 10 min. When it was done, I laid american cheese over the whole thing and used a pizza cutter to cut the meat in a grid pattern to make little square burgers. No greasy soggy buns! Just yummy little sliders!
